Thanksgiving Day Outreach

Most of us will sit down Thanksgiving Day and enjoy a large dinner with our family. However, many people throughout the nation are not so fortunate. Love In Action will provide 250 Thanksgiving dinners for needy families in its hometown of Dothan, Ala. If you live in the Dothan area, there are a variety of ways you can participate. Here are ways you can take part in this very important outreach:

Cooking:
- We need sweet potato casseroles.
- Cranberry sauce
- Desserts
Please bring your dishes ready serve to First United Methodist Church in Dothan, 1380 West Main Street, between 8-9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.

Prepare plates:
- Meet at First United Methodist at 8:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day to prepare the plates.

Deliver the food:
- We will begin delivering the food at 11 a.m.

We would like to thank First United Methodist Church in Dothan for allowing us to use their kitchen. When the body of Christ works together, we can accomplish so much more. Thank you!
