Reaching out to the Homeless
One of the most important parts of Love In Action International Ministries is supplying inner city churches
who reach out to the homeless and working poor with hygiene items and other
supplies. This helps them more effectively reach out to the "least of these."

Love In Action reaches out to the homeless throughout the nation to fulfill its mission of "proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through acts of compassion." We want to be God's hands and feet by fulfilling what Jesus said in Matthew 25:35-36: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

These are just a couple of examples of what Love In Action does each month. We can't do any of it without your prayers and financial assistance.

Project Eagle's Nest Project Eagle's Nest is an outreach Love In Action began in December 2004 to help Eagle's Nest Ministry in Atlanta reach out to the homeless. Thanks to your donations we were able to help Eagle's Nest begin its Bath Ministry. Every Wednesday homeless women come to shower and the men come on Thursdays. They are able to get clean and have their clothes washed. It's an awesome ministry and a great way to reach the homeless with the love of Jesus Christ. Project Sunset Park Project Sunset Park is an outreach Love In Action began to help our friends at Sunset Park Community Church in Brooklyn, NY, reach out to the homeless through their Shower and Clothes Washing Ministry. Pastor Larry Pitta and the good folks at Sunset Park Community Church have been serving the homeless lunch twice a week for a number of years. They have a great heart for reaching the homeless. Their Shower and Clothes Washing Ministry helps them to further reach the homeless with the love of Jesus Christ. As part of the ministry each person is given an opportunity to establish their own locker that will secure their hygiene items, have a freshly washed towel waiting for them and a newly washed set of clothes that they had dropped off the previous week. Love In Action has assisted them with this incredible outreach. It's a great ministry and it's making a difference in the lives of the homeless in Brooklyn. Your support helps make it possible.
