730 Health Kits for Haiti

More than 30 volunteers assembled 730 health kits for Haiti Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Love In Action Ministry Center. Volunteers came from Dothan, New Brockton and Ozark, Ala., and they all had great servant hearts. The health kits will help meet the physical needs of the Haiti people and open the door to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
Love In Action will deliver the health kits to the United Methodist Committee On Relief. UMCOR is well entrenched in Haiti, therefore, we know these health kits will make it into the hands of those in need.

Continuing to respond to Haiti
Love In Action will continue to respond to the needs in Haiti by accepting donations of supplies for health kits. Click here to see the list of items to donate. The people of Haiti are in such great need, and together we can help meet those needs.

Love In Action is working with the United Methodist Committee On Relief to send Health Kits to Haiti. The UMCOR is well entrenched in Haiti, therefore, we know these Health Kits will make it into the hands of those in need.

We must closely follow the instructions for the contents of the kits, including not placing religious literature in the kits. That's not unusual for items being sent to other countries. However, rest assured that UMCOR, and our friends at Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are on the ground ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people.

Thank you for your response to this great need.
