Daytona Bike Week 2002

500,000 bikers descended on Daytona Beach during the 61st annual Bike Week. Love In Action President Mike Shroades, Vice President Ken Tuck and Assistant Inner City Coordinator Justin Swasey traveled to Daytona to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people. There were plenty of "cool" bikes everywhere, especially here on Main Street. It was a tough crowd to say the least. While some cussed and fussed at us, and even threatened bodily harm, others were open to the message, which was delivered in the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
Other groups, like Bikers for Christ, were also in Daytona. This person walked through he crowded streets with this cross telling the people that "Jesus Saves."
This man was open to the message of Jesus Christ. He wondered if God cared about him. Ken told him God most definitely cares about him and loves him. Ken told him that God loved him so much that He sent His only Son to die for him, and that because Jesus lives, he could have eternal life as well. He is holding up the Gospel of John that Ken gave him. Mike, Justin and Ken handed out 100 Gospels of John and more than 300 Christian tracts in one day.
