Miraculous healing

Almost two years ago, Rick was run over by a train. The photo above was taken at the hospital following the accident. Both of Rick's hips were totally separated and his left foot was nearly ripped off. He had head injuries and a number of broken ribs. The doctors said he may never walk again. Following his release from the hospital he wasn't treated by any doctors or physical therapists.
He couldn't stand, much less take a step. He was bound to a wheelchair. Then on Saturday, April 21, 2012, God spoke to Rick in his hotel room and told him to get up and walk. Rick was instantly healed. He doesn't need the wheelchair any longer. He doesn't need a walker or a cane. God miraculously healed Rick. Praise God! To God be the glory! Pictured to the right, Rick is sharing his testimony at Love In Action's Celebrate Recovery Inside. One young man accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior following Rick's testimony. Praise God!

Adopt-A-Block

Singing praises to Jesus

One of our favorite stops every Saturday on Adopt-A-Block is at Mr. John's house. He is an elderly man who has to stay connected to an oxygen tank, but that doesn't keep him from singing about his Jesus. He has faithfully served Jesus for many years, and we enjoy talking with him each week and listening to the wisdom he has gained over the decades. One thing he enjoys doing is singing, and he will often break out in song. The video above captures a couple of those songs. He is a precious man, and every time he sings we feel the Spirit of God fill his porch and we have a great time worshiping Jesus together. Watch the video and be blessed. See, ministry isn't all about blessing others. Most of the time, God turns those blessings around and blesses us, like He does each week when we visit Mr. John. To God be the glory.

Celebrate Recovery Inside

An incredible night

Celebrate Recovery Inside at Love In Action was simply incredible Tuesday night, April 10, 2012. Great food prepared and served by volunteers filled with the love of Jesus, amazing worship led by Alan Watson, and powerful ministry by Radica Quakenbos as she shared her testimony. At least five people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and many more hit the altar crying out to God as He started healing the deep, deep hurts. People asked for forgiveness and gave forgiveness to those who had brought all of the pain in their lives. Some even discovered they needed to forgive themselves.
Praise God! For more about this incredible night please click here.

LIA Pastors' Prayer Vigil/Fellowship

Pastors gathered on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, for the monthly LIA Philippines Pastors' Prayer Vigil and Fellowship. In the photo to the right, Pastor Sardan Ragonio holds the phone to a microphone as LIA President/Pastor Ken Tuck shares an encouraging message with the pastors over the phone.

LIA Philippines continues to grow as 25 indigenous pastors and missionaries gathered in Sindangan on April 24, for the monthly LIA Philippines board meeting. LIA Philippines President Greg Begafria said the pastors and missionaries were “eager and excited” about LIA Philippines. Following the meeting, a Pastors Prayer Vigil and Fellowship was held. Pastor Ciriaco Butalid preached a powerful message to begin the night as 28 pastors gathered to seek God together and pray for Love In Action. LIA President and Pastor Ken Tuck called and shared a short encouraging message on the phone.
