Philippines OutreachLove In Action President/Pastor
and Vice President Ken and Martha Tuck and LIA Board Member Susie "Mama"
Tuck will be in the Philippines Jan. 20-27 to preach and teach the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Please keep the three of them in your prayers. They
will be ministering to children, preaching to the lost and teaching
pastors, missionaries and their wives. They will update their trip on
Facebook, Twitter and LIA blog. There are widgets below for you to follow
along via social media streams.
Adopt-A-Block
Love In Action's
Adopt-A-Block is making a big impact in the neighborhood surrounding
the LIA Ministry Center in downtown Dothan. Every Saturday, teams of
volunteers go into the neighborhood to serve the people. Volunteers
pick up trash each week, and have raked yards and performed house repairs.
We also deliver items such as food and blankets to help those in need
in this impoverished neighborhood. Many prayers are prayed each week
as well. The people now look forward to us coming out to see them each
Saturday. By serving the needy, Love In Action is showing people the
love of Jesus Christ and it is making a difference. We are forming relationships
with many people, and it is a blessing. As Pastor Matthew Barnett of
the Los Angeles Dream Center said, "Once you put yourself in another
man's world you will never be the same." That is so true. Adopt-A-Block
is every Saturday at 9:45 a.m. Come and join us share the Gospel of
Jesus Christ through acts of compassion with the needy of Dothan. Laundry Ministry

Ecuador
Love In Action is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through acts of compassion in Ecuador and the Philippines by feeding hungry children in southern Philippines and supporting Casa de Fe orphanage in Shell, Ecuador. We are also providing training in Celebrate Recovery, and working with missionaries to help them reach the lost. Soon we will provide for medical needs in both countries. Wrist bands for orphans
"Religion
that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after
orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being
polluted by the world." - James 1:27 (NIV)
Love In Action traveled to Shell, Ecuador in October to work at the
Casa de Fe orphanage.
The staff at Casa de Fe does an incredible job of caring for these precious
orphans. As you can imagine, the expenses for taking care of nearly
60 children are high. Love In Action is dedicated to helping Casa de
Fe. We have been there and witnessed for ourselves the great work they
do. By purchasing wrist bands in the photo above, you will be helping
the orphans at Casa de Fe. Each wrist band is $2.50 and all proceeds
will go directly to the orphanage. Send your check to: Love In Action,
