Outreach '08
Sept. 19-20

Love In Action will host a two-day outreach to the homeless
in Atlanta Sept. 19-20. We will once again partner with our friends at Eagle's
Nest. In addition to the outreach, Love In Action will deliver a cargo trailer
load of hygiene items and towels to help Eagle's Nest with its bath ministry.

Meeting at Harvest Church on Aug. 25
Love In Action will hold a meeting about Atlanta Outreach '08 at its home
church - Harvest Church - in Dothan, Ala., on Monday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. in
the Common Grounds room, which is located in the office building behind the
church. Everyone interested in helping with the Atlanta Outreach is invited
to attend. Harvest Church is located at 2727 Fortner Street in Dothan.
Haiti Outreach

Love In Action is helping to reach the people of Haiti with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and with supplies to meet physical needs. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, and Love In Action is teaming with House of Mercy, a Christian French Haitian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., to minister in Haiti. Members from the House of Mercy are currently in Haiti and e-mailed these photos to us. They have held three crusades and more than 150 people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They will be able to get the large container of supplies to meet physical needs out of customs within the next couple of days. That will be a great blessing to many people in great need in Haiti. Please pray for the team that's in Haiti and pray for the people of Haiti. |

Christmas Shoeboxes for the Homeless
Love In Action will once again be collecting shoeboxes for the homeless this
Christmas. For more information, click here.
We
need your help with a huge need
With
the increase in supplies and opportunities to help other ministries throughout
the nation, we are in desperate need of a large storage building or warehouse.
In the short term, we
have rented a 10'X15' storage unit, but that space will not be nearly enough
to contain the donations of supplies that we are receiving. We also have the
opportunity to have a large
amount of food donated on a regular basis, but we cannot accept it at this
time because we do not have the room or the proper facility to store it. This
is a great opportunity to expand
Love In Action. We have prayed for years about an opportunity like this, and
now God has opened that door. We need land and the money to build the size
building we need. Please pray today about giving to this very important need.
With all of us working together, we can accomplish this and help thousands
of homeless people.
